About Us

Think Nature is a small business based in South Devon working for conservation, wildlife and the environment. Think Nature was set up by husband and wife team Ed and Emma Parr Ferris in 2008.

Ed Parr Ferris gained a first-class degree in Rural Resource Management from Seale-Hayne Agricultural College. His career since has been in practical conservation management, working with Gloucestershire County Council and The National Trust, managing land for nature conservation and access, writing SSSI management plans, and working with the public. Ed also managed the Slapton Cycleau Project - an international, multi-agency, water catchment project, which advised farmers and landowners, and engaged local communities. Ed’s experience covers all aspects of environmental land management, mixing hands-on practical knowledge with project management skills.
